National Movement in Germany: The merger of the NPD and DVU. From now on, our website will be updated frequently.
At the End of 2010, the NPD party chairman Udo Voigt and the former DVU-chief, Matt Faust, signed the merger agreement and thus sealed the merger of the two parties. The signing took place in front of a notary. Historically, it is the third merger in Germany. Legally, it was the first merger of two parties held by the Civil Code.
After the notary date the co-chairs expressed the following:
The NPD party chairman was satisfied. "A year with many meetings, consultations, polls and hard political work is behind us, it was all worth it as big step towards a united strong right-wing party was brought in opposition to the way the electorate is now... For in the past, many remained, divided, given the disunity of national parties and groups in the FRG elections.
Even the state election in March in Saxony-Anhalt will show that it will soon be easier to carry national policy in the parliament. The following domino effect " Will bring more success then the national opposition. Germany's strong right hand is here! "
The DVU chairman Matthias Faust, who will lead the Bremen list of state elections in May, was confident: "About 87.5% of the members have decided a impressive case for a strong right from NPD and DVU. Now we have concluded the truly historical event of the merger of our two parties. We begin the new year with a common, strong right hand, which starts with all the more power in the election of 2011. Bremen will make it clear that electoral success in West Germany is also feasible.
I thank all members of the DVU for their support and commitment to erect a better Germany. "
Meanwhile, circulating was a preliminary injunction of the District Court of Munich, after which the merger was declared invalid. Once haunted by this message by the German media this caused some panic, But the merger still stands! The court had wrong information! The merger has therefore to 01 January 2011 and held the injunction should immediately and, according to our lawyer to be repealed.
The fusion at the base will, however, be an ongoing process. Everywhere now DVU former members are now in the NPD - a The People's Union.
It will grow together what belongs together!

On 4. and 5. of June 2010 the NPD organised a Congress to talk about their party program, discuss changes and modifications. Around 500 NPD-Members and guests meet in the bavarian city Bamberg.
As you know, the NPD is the biggest Nationalist Party in Germany with around 7.000 Members. The second biggest with 4.000 Members is the DVU, the "Deutsche VolksUnion". Founded in 1987, the NPD and DVU many times where Opponents at elections. Many voters, supporter, sympathizers and even members where confused about this bad situation. Who should I support? Who should I help? Where should I be member?
Many times the NPD and DVU tried to work together. Since februrary 2010 our Chairman Udo Voigt and the DVU Chairman Matthias Faust had secret meetings. They thought and talked about a Union, a Merger, ..., merging NPD and DVU.
On the Party Congress in Bamberg on 04. of June 2010 they introduced this plan to everybody.
As the next the members are questioned in writing whether they agree to a coalescence. Then the DVU and the NPD will organise a next Party Congress to carry out this coalescence.
This is a historical chance to bundle up the forces and to celebrate other election success. Together we are strong ... Together we can make it!
